Wine, dine, and unwind.... London's top 5 BEST
The Pride of Paddington http://theprideofpaddington.co.uk
How can you NOT go to London without getting Fish and Chips? The Pride of Paddington is a casual, welcoming, and traditional British pub that offers a local vibe, quaint (yet busy) ambiance, and as the name suggests, pride. I would obviously suggest the Fish and Chips and your choice of beer to start off your London trip off right!
Jimmy’s Lodge https://www.jimmyspopup.com/jimmys-lodge/
The Waterloo area is in Central London and on its own offers the best sights (bridges, river, playful sights, etc.) and open space to just walk and breathe in the crisp London air. Jimmy’s Lodge is actually a seasonal pop up serving up the best fondue, hot chocolate, etc. and is obviously the cutest picture worthy igloo dining experience!!! Look online in order to reserve this super cute space, but know that there is always the non sit down pop up that you can stop in for a warm cup of cheer!
Shangri-La at The Shard http://www.shangri-la.com/london/shangrila/
It’s worth every pound to come to have high tea at the Shangri-La at The Shard. The views, the service, the VIEWS (yes, I said it again) To drink tea and champagne on any given day is the best kind of day. But to sip tea and savor crisp champagne from high above at the Shangri-La is an experience you must fit into your London itinerary.
The Pilgrm https://thepilgrm.com
There’s nothing more relaxing than enjoying an extra dark drip coffee and croissant from the comfort of your own home. When traveling and visiting in London, you can have that exact type of cheery good morning vibe by visiting and/or staying at The Pilgrm in Paddington London. The Pilgrm serves Workshop coffee in their downstairs entry area and includes a variety of pastries, magazines, a complimentary water station, and welcoming atmosphere. If you want a more homey type setting to enjoy your brew - walk up the handsome rich wood staircase that opens up to a living room seating area and larger lounge area that is more of a dining and kitchen experience. The architecture, decor, and ambiance is a balance of an ‘I’m home slash on vacation’ feel and the staff are extremely genuine and pleasant hosts.
Mondarian London https://www.mondrianlondonhotel.com
The Mondarian London is a MUST. Right when you walk in, you are dazzled with the scent, vibe, and ambiance of ultimate style and luxe. Located in the Southbank area, the Mondarian is the perfect spot to stop by (even if you are not a guest at the hotel) for lunch, tea, or cocktails at the iconic Dandelyan. The decor, views, and service is top shelf and you’ll leave feeling more glamorous than you already are, babe!
